Kyoto Protocol

Wanna know all about GHG (green house gas) emissions and how it is affecting our climate, global warming etc.? This is some interesting stuff. It is of significant importance and I am amazed how such policies are put into effect by developed countries. What about the underdeveloped nations which might be contributing a significant portion of pollutants and our affecting our climate?

Check out more of the protocol here -> http://ec.europa.eu/environment/climat/kyoto.htm

World's Cleanest City?

In February, Masdar ("the source" in Arabic) will break ground on the six-square-kilometer city in Abu Dhabi that its backers say will be the first zero-pollution, zero-waste city. The city will be capable of housing 47,500 people, who are scheduled to start moving there in 2009. Construction is expected to take 10 years. There will be no cars in the city. You can only imagine the rest. Truly a green technology initiative.
